Project Double-Duty TJ

Here's the "Before" photos of Project Double-Duty TJ. It's already a well built 2000 Jeep Wrangler, equipped with a Rubicon Express Extreme Duty long arm suspension kit, Dana 30 and 44 axles with 4.56 gears and ARB Air Lockers, 35" Goodyear MTR tires and more.

as seen in:

We've done a lot to our Jeeps, but the time has come to build something special. We wanted this jeep to be a truly hardcore machine with very high capability on the trail and in the rocks. We also want Project Double-Duty to be a well mannered and good looking daily driver that doesn't have to be trailered everywhere.

Stay tuned as we build the links and pages below to transform our TJ into a serious Double-Duty machine...

Planned modifications include:

  • Currie Anti-Rock Swaybar
  • AirFlow Prototype Cowl Snorkel/Air Intake System

  • Howe Steering System

Here's Project DD after all the mods are completed. (Well, if it's REALLY ever completed)

It is now a hardcore capable trail & rockcrawling machine. The off-road capabilities have surpassed our expectations. It is right at home crawling in big rocks or climbing steep hills. The on-road ride is amazing. It rides as nice as any of the Old Man Emu equipped TJ's around here. We must say our project is a complete success!

We'd like to say THANKS to all our sponsors, who provided many valuable parts for our project.

Many thanks also to Marty, Eli, Jacob and everyone else who pitched in to help make our jeep a reality. A special THANKS to "My Boy", Alex who dedicated a LOT of time & effort in building this jeep, and for putting up with my "Supervisory skills" during the process.
