Heavy Duty Driveshafts from HIGH ANGLE DRIVELINE!
 
 
With our rig running custom built Dana 60 axles from Dynatrac and Tera, we just couldn't bolt in any 'ol driveshafts! We wanted the best- So we called Jesse at High Angle Driveline in Paradise, California. Jesse builds a BUNCH of the driveshafts you see on competition rockcrawling rigs, and other high horsepower machines. His driveshafts have been featured in numerous 4x4 magazines and even on an episode of Monster Garage!

We told him what we needed and he sent us a pair of custom built, super strong 1350 CV driveshafts, along with all the yokes and flanges we needed to give Project DD a brutally strong drivetrain!
 
Here's our new ultra heavy duty driveshafts from High Angle Driveline. We opted for the big HD tube in the rear, and the tight clearance shaft in front.

Both shafts feature 1350 CV joints, that have been machined by Jesse for more clearance to operate at extreme angles. The front U-joint is a 1350, which allows for more clearance around our Jeep's exhaust. The rear pinion u-joint is a big, bad Spicer 1410. We also got Spicer U-bolt style yokes for the pinions and a set of Jesse's CV flanges for our Atlas 2 transfer case.

Here's our High Angle Driveline shaft (bottom) compared to a popular aftermarket 1310 CV rear shaft for a Cherokee.

Everything is BIGGER! The modified1350 CV joint, bigger 1 ton style HD tubing and 1410 U-joint, make for a MUCH stronger driveshaft.

One nice thing about our jeep's new extended wheelbase is that the rear driveshaft is now almost identical in length to that of the XJ shaft above it! At almost a foot and a half longer than stock, our driveline will run much smoother and last longer.
