Project Double-Duty TJ

                                        Project DD Get's 40" Goodyear Wrangler MTR's!

We love MTR's. The terrain we wheel in most often, combined with the fact that we drive our jeeps daily, make the Goodyear MTR's an excellent choice in tires. When we heard that Goodyear was coming out with an all new 40" version of our favorite tire, we just had to have a set. A few conversations later, they were on the way!
We're currently finishing up the small stuff: Gas tank enclosure, hood vents, snorkel and custom tailgate hinges, etc and gearing up for the final phase of our project, which is the drivetrain and suspension. We thought we'd just give you a taste of how big these new tires are...

Here's a new 40" MTR next to a 33" MTR. (sorry Jen)  This is gonna be fun. With the tire standing upright in this position, we measured it at appx 39-3/8" tall. They're huge!

Of course, there will be a full review when we get Project DD in action...

Here's another shot of the new 40's next to our XJ. It has 6" of lift and 33" MTR's also.

Same shot from the front.
