With their low profile and high ground clearance design, these JKS SuperNerfs are an awesome alternative to some of the weak competitors. They have a unique construction allowing you to drop fully on or pivot your whole Jeep around a rock, resulting in only minor scrapes to the powder coat finish which is easily touched up by a can of spray paint. Having them on our own XJ's, we have found nothing stronger and more reliable for hardcore usage. |

They mount to your vehicle using critical load distribution points so that they can safely handle its full weight, and provide excellent Hi-Lift jack points. A huge benefit to the mounting design is in the separate feet that bolt to the uni-body. (Shown left) These foot plates are pre-welded to a tube that runs inside an outer tube on the main rocker, utilizing two bolts on each foot to secure them together. The main unit then mounts to the vehicle's pinch seam, through a series of holes, with bolts that thread through the seam and into the base square tubing. This means that should you destroy the main unit (highly unlikely) you can easily detach it and bolt up a new one. Personally, we like to weld the feet to the main unit for the added durability. Either way, The SuperNerfs from JKS are an indispensable item for hardcore off-roading with your XJ Cherokee, WJ and ZJ Grand Cherokee, or KJ Liberty. |
