  Our new Rock Attack Gas Tank Skid Plates are built from beefy 3/16" thick, 50,000psi Laser Cut steel! (Much stronger than mild steel) We've seen a few skid plates made with 1/4" steel, resulting in unwanted extra weight. 3/16" mild steel skid plates aren't as strong. Our skids are ultra strong without the excess weight!

Skids are treated to a State of the Art 5-Stage Pre-Wash/Phosphate coating before being Professionally Powder-Coated and shipped in a Custom, Reinforced Double Wall Box. Simply the Strongest, Highest Quality Gas Tank Skid Plate Available! 

  Mounting in the stock location provides the strongest foundation. Kit includes 1- Rock Attack Skid Plate, High Grade 10.9 Metric Zinc Plated mounting hardware, and an HD Nut Plate for Driver's side mounting, (All 97+ XJ's have pass side mounting plates from the factory) and Complete Instructions.
